By downloading, accessing, or using Pinliyo, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Pinliyo is a personal travel-memory product. It helps you log places, trips, notes, statuses, stats, and share visuals. It is not travel, immigration, medical, safety, tax, or legal advice.
Account and your data
You are responsible for the information you add to Pinliyo and for keeping access to your device and account secure. You keep ownership of the travel entries, notes, photos, and other content you add. You give Pinliyo permission to host, process, sync, and display that content only as needed to provide the app.
You should not add content that you do not have the right to use or share. If you export or post a share card, map, story, sticker, or trip recap, you are responsible for that sharing choice.
Pinliyo Pro purchases
Pinliyo may offer paid subscriptions, lifetime access, free trials, discounts, or other offers through your device's app store. The price, renewal period, trial terms, and taxes are shown at purchase time by the store.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the store before renewal.
- Trials convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
- You can manage, cancel, or request store-supported refunds through your app store.
- RevenueCat helps Pinliyo validate purchases and unlock Pro entitlements.
- Pro features may evolve, but Pinliyo will not intentionally delete your existing travel memories because you stop paying.
Pro can include features such as unlimited trips, AI trip planning tools, photo import, premium share templates, motion export, 3D globe export, watermark removal, multiple profiles, and manual export/import.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse Pinliyo, interfere with the service, or try to bypass purchase or entitlement checks.
- Do not upload or share unlawful, harmful, abusive, or rights-infringing content.
- Do not use Pinliyo to track another person without permission.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or attack Pinliyo services.
Third-party services
Pinliyo relies on third-party services, including Firebase, RevenueCat, OpenAI for optional AI trip planning, geographic reference services, Apple, and Google. Their services may have their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and account rules. Pinliyo is not responsible for third-party outages, store payment issues, or platform-level account restrictions.
Geographic place data is provided by GeoNames under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License.
Changes and availability
We may update, improve, pause, remove, or limit parts of Pinliyo as the product evolves, for security, legal, technical, or operational reasons. We may also update these terms. The updated version will show a new last updated date and will be posted on this page.
Disclaimers and limits
Pinliyo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in every location or on every device. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Pinliyo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, travel opportunities, or goodwill.
Some places do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you cannot waive under local consumer law.
